Medical Assistant – Cardiology Clinic – Full Time

About the role

The Medical Assistant will support patient care in the Cardiology Clinic, providing individualized medical assistance under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. This full‑time, on‑site position involves direct interaction with patients, physicians, and the care team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients throughout their visit, ensuring they are prepared and their questions are answered.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the company’s data systems, including patient registration and clinical notes.
• Communicate with patients via phone to address needs promptly and professionally.
• Support the attending physician by preparing exam rooms and handling clinical supplies.
• Adhere to privacy, safety, and compliance standards, including handling of blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Clinical knowledge relevant to a cardiology setting.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications for documentation.
