Materials Management Clerk – Full‑time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Supply Chain department is seeking a full‑time Materials Management Clerk 1 to support receipt, inspection, and distribution of supplies at its Palm Beach Gardens location.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and restock inventory items, checking expiration dates and rotating stock as needed.
• Assist with unloading and unpacking deliveries, notify management of overstocking or discrepancies, and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Fill tickets and requisitions, deliver supplies promptly, and verify proper charging on delivery day.
• Print and apply labels to inventory packages and preserve order documentation according to university policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in materials or inventory management.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications.
• Basic knowledge of inventory tracking and labeling processes.
