Material Planner

About the role

As a Material Planner at Bosch Group, you will ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support production schedules. You will work closely with purchasing, suppliers, and production teams to balance demand and supply while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze MRP results and reconcile demand versus supply to guarantee material availability.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Coordinate supply execution with purchasing, suppliers, and production.
• Maintain planning master data, including lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, and forecast parameters.
• Resolve supply risks and exceptions through expediting, rescheduling, and recovery actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of material planning processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply‑chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience planning and controlling production orders from release through completion.
