Manufacturing Engineer – Production Process Development

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to develop new manufacturing processes, equipment, and continuous improvements in a fast‑paced production environment. The role bridges design engineering, NPI, quality, production, and external vendors to bring vehicle concepts from prototype to high‑volume manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design Engineering to embed Design for Manufacturability early in product development.
• Develop process designs and tooling that support high‑volume production lines while maintaining dimensional quality.
• Lead tooling design, GD&T strategy, and partner vendor buy‑off for final product delivery.
• Drive installation, commissioning, and ramp‑up of production lines, ensuring schedule and budget adherence.
• Participate in line design reviews, robot and tooling simulations, cycle‑time planning, and layout optimization.
• Analyze and optimize new processes for safety, yield, capacity, and cost effectiveness.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve material flow, waste reduction, safety, and ergonomics.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing and launching complex assembly processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to make decisive decisions under pressure.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to influence change based on metrics.
