About the role
HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027. The internship provides hands‑on experience in tool design, testing, and production support while developing skills specific to hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with tool design and creation of 3D models using Creo.
- Produce dimensioned drawings and support testing experiments.
- Follow measurement plans, conduct FMEA, and improve assembly‑cell layouts.
- Implement 5S methodology and identify waste‑elimination opportunities.
- Provide production assembly and testing assistance.
Required profile
- Enrolled in an engineering undergraduate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Self‑directed, motivated, and able to communicate effectively.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Required skills
- Basic proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably PTC Creo.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of FMEA and 5S principles.
