Manufacturing Consultant – Life Sciences – Digital CMC/PLM

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Manufacturing Consultant to support life‑science clients in digital CMC and PLM transformation. The role will help design and implement a digital thread and data backbone that enable AI‑driven operations across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of business and technology transformation projects using expertise in PLM, CMC, tech transfer and data‑as‑a‑product.
• Analyse client value levers for PLM and CMC reinvention across pharma, biotech and MedTech, from R&D to commercialization.
• Develop and apply technical, industry and functional knowledge to identify and sell new opportunities.
• Execute project work, lead work‑products, and mentor junior team members.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Consultant‑level experience in life‑science manufacturing, PLM or CMC domains.
• Strong understanding of digital thread concepts, data lineage and knowledge‑graph approaches.
• Proven ability to work on client‑facing projects and mentor teammates.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platforms.
• CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) processes.
• Knowledge graphs and data lineage techniques.
• AI‑enabled transformation concepts.
