Manager Trainee - Operational Strength Program

About the role

Avis Budget Group is recruiting trainees for its Operational Strength Program (OSP), starting January 2027. The program prepares participants to become Operations Managers in a Fortune 500 company through structured learning, functional rotations and hands-on experience with a cohort of peers. It is a full-time, 12-month career-launching journey.

Participants rotate through operations functions and receive personalized mentorship from experienced leaders. Because operations span the country, willingness and ability to relocate to any location nationwide after the initial eight-week training is an essential requirement.

Required profile

• 2- or 4-year college degree OR 4 years of military service
• Ability and willingness to relocate anywhere in the United States
• Experience as a team member or team leader (e.g., sports, clubs, military)
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
• On-site presence required; the role is not remote
• Extra points for at least one year of customer service experience
