Manager of Applied AI Architecture, Enterprise Tech (Cyber)

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a manager to lead the Applied AI Architecture team focused on enterprise technology for the cybersecurity sector. You will drive the adoption of frontier AI models, such as Claude, across leading security vendors, helping them embed AI into detection, response, and security‑operations products via Anthropic’s API, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Applied AI Architects, setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
• Partner with high‑value enterprise tech customers to define AI adoption strategies, including use‑case scoping, technical champion development, and proof‑of‑concept execution.
• Own the technical side of pre‑sales engagements, delivering compelling demos and validating ROI for Anthropic solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to co‑create go‑to‑market strategies and ensure safe, reliable AI integration.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment and influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve business outcomes.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites for executive workshops and relationship building.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing technical pre‑sales or AI architecture teams.
• Strong consultative sales background with the ability to translate complex AI concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity use cases and industry standards for reliability, accuracy, and safety.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Artificial intelligence and machine‑learning fundamentals, especially large language models.
• API integration and AI model deployment experience.
• Pre‑sales engineering, technical demo delivery, and proof‑of‑concept development.
• Domain knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and workflows.
