Manager, Marketing Analytics

About the role

The Manager, Marketing Analytics leads the team responsible for generating marketing insights and analysis that support Home Depot's marketing, merchandising, operations and other cross-functional groups. The role works with business partners to prioritize reporting enhancements and analytical projects, and collaborates with product management, engineering and key vendors on the tools needed to meet evolving analytics and reporting needs. It reports to a Senior Manager and has three direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Present analysis, test results and recommendations to peers and senior management, and build a business case for site enhancement investments
• Lead conversion planning and forecasting on weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual levels, and run ad hoc analysis of issues affecting marketing performance
• Determine actionable conclusions from analytic summaries and recommend changes to policies and processes
• Prioritize and manage requests for report and analysis enhancements, and maintain a list of enhancements for measurement technology
• Share leadership for analytics teams (reporting and analysis) and, over time, structured site (A/B, MVT) testing
• Ensure consistency of information, methodologies and reports across peers, and share best practices

Required profile

• Age 18 or older, legally permitted to work in the United States
• Manages a team of 1-5 direct reports, including supervision, hiring, performance appraisals and development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or master's preferred
• 5 years of work experience
• Preferred: experience managing a team of analytical professionals, running an A/B testing program, and using database-driven sites and content management tools

Required skills

• Knowledge of marketing analytics and models such as MMM, MTA, LTA, OAM and channel platform ROAS
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain complex issues clearly to business and technical audiences
• Leadership, partnership-building and problem-solving abilities
