Manager, Interconnected Strategy

About the role

The Home Depot's Interconnected Strategy team develops and executes the company's overall interconnected and customer experience strategy, combining its digital capabilities with its network of stores and associates. This Sr. Analyst / Manager position identifies opportunities based on market dynamics, builds efforts to address them, secures internal resourcing and builds external relationships. It reports to the Sr. Manager or Director and has no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Stay abreast of external developments, including innovations and strategies of competitors and non-competitors, to identify opportunities and threats
• Use internal and external research to develop insights and solutions, and write documents for executive audiences
• Structure issues and prioritize analyses to address business problems, presenting readouts and work materials to the team and key stakeholders
• Drive one or more interconnected strategy and operational execution workstreams

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States
• 3+ years of relevant work experience (4 years preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA a plus
• Previous experience in top-tier retail/ecommerce, corporate strategy or professional services such as strategy consulting, investment banking or private equity is preferred
