Manager, Influencer Marketing

About the role

Relay is seeking a Manager, Influencer Marketing to lead and grow its influencer program. This player‑coach role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of top creator relationships and high‑stakes campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Relay’s influencer marketing strategy across paid, organic, UGC, and ambassador models, aligning with brand and creative leadership.
• Directly manage and develop a team of Influencer Marketing Managers, handling hiring, performance, and coaching on creator strategy and deal structures.
• Negotiate and manage the highest‑stakes creator relationships and ambassador deals, including usage rights, content cadence, and exclusivity.
• Design non‑traditional creator partnerships that reach SMB owners, even when creators don’t focus on business content.
• Build measurement infrastructure to defend top‑of‑funnel investment and maintain attribution discipline for conversion performance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of influencer or creator marketing experience, including at least 2 years as a people manager, preferably in high‑growth SaaS or fintech.
• Proven track record of pioneering non‑obvious creator partnerships and scaling a creator program.
• Strong storytelling and creative concepting instincts, with hands‑on involvement in campaign content.
• Demonstrated ability to build both top‑of‑funnel and conversion‑focused creator motions and associated measurement.
• Deep fluency on at least two platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, podcasts, or newsletters.
