Majors Account Executive (Boston & San Diego)

About the role

At ClickUp we are building the first truly converged AI workspace that unifies tasks, docs, chat, calendar and enterprise search. We are looking for a Majors Account Executive who consistently exceeds quota by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones across Boston and San Diego.

Key responsibilities

• Own expansion opportunities across major accounts (1,000‑2,500 employees) in the assigned region.
• Convert free‑trial, demo requests and product adoption signals into qualified pipeline and revenue.
• Run structured discovery to uncover workflow pain points and build business cases for broader ClickUp adoption.
• Deliver compelling demos and value‑based conversations that link ClickUp to cross‑functional outcomes.
• Build and manage multithreaded deal plans involving end users, managers, executives and procurement.
• Partner with Growth, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success and other GTM teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
• Maintain strong process discipline in forecasting, pipeline inspection, CRM hygiene and follow‑through.
• Surface repeatable insights on objections and expansion patterns to refine the majors expansion motion.
• Support formal buying motions such as RFIs, RFQs and procurement‑heavy evaluations.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of full‑cycle SaaS sales experience, including net‑new acquisition and account expansion.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Process‑driven with diligent attention to detail.
• Experience leading Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Quotes (RFQ).
