Maintenance Technician – Sun River Village

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its Sun River Village community meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will work on buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, handling resident service requests and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment, and work in various weather conditions.

Required skills

• Basic maintenance and repair skills for building systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience with pressure‑washing and painting tasks.
