Maintenance Technician – Regency Park

About the role

Greystar is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician for its Regency Park property in Cypress, Texas. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and on a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site when required.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
