Maintenance Technician – Prelude at Paramount

About the role

Greystar has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician at the Prelude at Paramount community. The role involves technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs according to safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain exterior buildings, parking areas, and common spaces by cleaning, pressure‑washing, painting curbs and signage, and handling trash removal.
• Assist with vendor management, inventory tracking, and ordering of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in safety meetings, OSHA training, and incident reporting to ensure compliance with Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience with hand and power tools, basic plumbing, appliance repair, entry‑level carpentry, and painting.
• Professional demeanor and appearance, strong communication skills, and ability to read and write effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• EPA Type 1, Type 2, or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
