Maintenance Technician – Next on Lex/Brio

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of a stabilized 699‑unit community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality. The role requires weekend availability, on‑call duties and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑generated work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage, restocking and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and minor painting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily or high‑rise communities.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on larger properties).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and respond to on‑call requests.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type I, Type II, Universal).

• Inventory tracking and supply ordering.
• Operation of a golf cart for property mobility.
