Maintenance Technician – Gable House

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Gable House community in Torrance, California. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional, supporting our lease‑up phase. The technician will work closely with the property management team to ensure resident satisfaction and uphold Greystar’s standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose the source of defects, ensuring repairs comply with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new occupants, including cleaning, repairs and inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in a lease‑up or residential setting.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible weekdays as needed.
• Ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols.
