Maintenance Technician – Central Park, Whisman Station

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Central Park property at Whisman Station meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position works on‑site in Mountain View, handling resident requests and preventative upkeep of building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, and general building systems to reduce future failures.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for units, preparing them for new occupants by addressing any defects and ensuring all systems are operational.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Availability to work a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule, 8 am‑5 pm.
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety protocols, and local building codes.
