Maintenance Technician – Broadstone Craft

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the Broadstone Craft property in Charlotte operates safely, efficiently, and meets Greystar’s standards for appearance and functionality. This full‑time position involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• EPA certification Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), climbing ladders, and working in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and property maintenance procedures.
