Maintenance Supervisor – The Oliver Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of The Oliver community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs following company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager within budget limits.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with broader maintenance planning and project execution.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or technical issues in a residential community setting.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s maintenance policies.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal service teams.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and develop corrective action plans.
