Maintenance Supervisor – Broadstone Strata

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for the Broadstone Strata community in Seattle. The role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar’s high standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and perform mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs, including hot‑water heater maintenance and roof work.
• Manage outside vendors, track warranties, and coordinate make‑ready processes for vacant units.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for common areas, grounds, and building exteriors.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, assist with budgeting for repairs and capital projects, and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Lead a team of up to five employees, providing training, safety briefings, and performance oversight.

Required profile

• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• High school diploma or GED; relevant trade experience preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Required skills

• Hot‑water heater repair and maintenance.
• Basic carpentry and knowledge of roofing materials (shingle, BUR membrane, EPDM).
• Safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with property‑management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
