Maintenance Associate – Hotel & Event Center

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, reliable problem‑solver to keep our oceanfront hotel and event center safe, functional, and welcoming. Reporting to the Facilities Director, you will work across multiple buildings and systems, supporting daily operational needs year‑round.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across hotel buildings, guest rooms, and event spaces.
• Assist with general carpentry, painting, basic plumbing, and minor electrical tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Conduct regular property inspections and report safety or repair concerns.
• Support seasonal tasks such as pool maintenance, snow removal, and landscaping assistance.
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities team to keep equipment and systems functioning efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and organized manner.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner while following safety protocols.

Required profile

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform bending, climbing, standing, and work in various environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
