Machine Operator – Jumbo Slitter (VSL4) – 1st Shift

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Machine Operator to run the VSL4 Jumbo Slitter on the first shift at our Lincolnton, NC conversion and packaging center. In this position you will ensure precise cutting and converting of materials while upholding Bosch’s high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the VSL4 Jumbo Slitter throughout the shift, maintaining optimal performance and accuracy.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters according to job specifications and technical requirements.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of finished products to verify compliance with standards.
• Monitor material flow and equipment operation, promptly addressing any issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
• Perform routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and record production data.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors immediately.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating industrial slitting or converting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and handle material loads.
