Machine Operator II – 3rd Shift (Night)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing manufacturing team that contributes to essential sectors such as energy, food, water and shipping. As a Machine Operator II on the 3rd shift you will work nights from Sunday to Thursday, helping to keep production running smoothly while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, gloves, uniform) at all times.
• Receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader and execute production following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Report any safety, quality, parts or equipment deviations immediately on the Status Boards and inform the Team Leader.
• Participate actively in Daily Status Board meetings, explain deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Review existing SOPs and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Identify waste (time, motion, inventory, etc.) and drive Kaizen initiatives.
• Maintain high 5S standards through daily and weekly cleaning and organization routines.
• Seek cross‑training opportunities and use downtime to learn new processes and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED minimum.
• Willingness to work the 3rd‑shift schedule (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use PPE consistently.
• Strong attention to detail for reporting deviations and maintaining production quality.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $23.50.
• Additional $1.00 shift differential for night work.
