Assembler II – GPHE/REF 1st Shift

About the role

As an Assembler II you will work the first‑shift (Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am‑2:30 pm) in a manufacturing environment, following safety and quality standards while continuously seeking improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily production assignments using Standard Operating Procedures, blueprints and work orders.
• Report any safety, quality, equipment or part deviations immediately to the Team Leader/Manager and update status boards.
• Participate in Daily Status Board meetings, explain deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Identify waste elimination opportunities and drive Kaizen improvements.
• Maintain 5S standards through daily and weekly routines.
• Cross‑train on other manufacturing processes and use downtime for learning.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated team player who follows Alfa Laval’s Action, Interaction and Satisfaction drivers.
• High school diploma or GED minimum; experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and manufacturing orders.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, when needed.

Required skills

• Crane operation certification (preferred).
• Forklift operation certification (preferred).
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lb and follow safety data sheet guidelines.
