LPN – Clinic – Regional Urology

About the role

This position provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, within the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in the Regional Urology Clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to gather data, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Deliver care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of urology patients.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a quality experience.
• Adapt quickly to changing unit demands and assist ancillary nursing staff as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date clinical knowledge, credentials, and comply with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and judgment skills.

Required skills

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

• IV therapy competency (preferred).
