Logistics Technician II – 2nd/3rd Shift

About the role

Moog is seeking a Logistics Technician II to support 2nd and 3rd shift operations at its Buffalo, NY facility. The role ensures safe, accurate, and timely movement of flight‑critical aircraft components throughout the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment according to written or verbal instructions, coordinating delivery with trucking companies.
• Receive materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries, maintaining cleanliness and traceability of parts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, stockroom organization, and material movement throughout the shop.
• Perform higher‑level tasks such as flight‑critical part selection, DFAS military shipments, and dispatch work order splits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• At least 3 years of material handling or logistics experience.
• Previous front‑line leadership or training experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with a Warehouse Management System.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
