Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager leads transportation and logistics operations to move products safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively across the supply chain. This role works closely with internal teams, carriers, freight forwarders and the 4PL partner Uber Freight to drive performance, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with distribution, customer service, procurement, planning and operations to ensure reliable freight execution and resolve transportation issues.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies that balance landed cost, lead times and service levels while managing carrier and 4PL performance.
• Oversee inbound, outbound and intercompany freight activities, including shipment visibility, documentation, freight bill review and claims resolution.
• Partner with Uber Freight and freight forwarders to manage domestic and international shipments, improve consolidation, routing and carrier utilization.
• Monitor logistics KPIs such as freight cost, on‑time delivery and carrier performance, and present data‑driven recommendations.
• Lead logistics‑related projects, create SOPs and drive process improvements to reduce manual work and increase consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing logistics operations, carrier performance and transportation issue resolution.
• Strong analytical ability to solve complex problems and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams, carriers, freight forwarders and 4PL partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
