About the role
The Supply Chain Planner drives advanced supply planning strategies to balance inventory, service levels, and cost efficiency. This role partners with purchasing, demand planning, product management, and operations to align supply plans with business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain optimal finished‑goods inventory levels, considering forecasts, lead times, and storage constraints.
- Lead safety‑stock analysis and optimization using statistical modeling to reduce stockouts and improve inventory turns.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously refine planning models and enhance supply reliability.
- Manage excess and at‑risk inventory, performing root‑cause analysis and driving corrective actions.
- Maintain master planning data in Blue Yonder and ERP systems, and approve final supply plans for execution.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer goods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field; advanced degree or APICS certification preferred.
- Proficiency with MRP and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder) and experience with SIOP processes.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
