Senior Demand Planner

About the role

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is looking for a highly analytical Senior Demand Planner to join its Supply Chain team. The role focuses on forecasting customer demand, optimizing inventory, and supporting the SIOP process within the pipe, valve, and fittings industry.

Key responsibilities

• Own a set of key accounts and collaborate closely with customers.
• Lead end‑to‑end planning for large, demand‑driven projects, defining scope, milestones, and tracking progress.
• Provide guidance in the SIOP process, incorporating customer needs and channel intelligence.
• Develop, maintain, and update demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and customer insights.
• Analyze demand patterns and variances to support procurement, inventory, and sales planning decisions.
• Partner with Supply Planning to ensure lead‑time reliability and mitigate supply risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in the PVF or industrial distribution sector.
• Proven experience with ERP systems and forecasting software.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for large‑dataset analysis.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data‑visualization tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) demand planning solutions.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and forecasting software.
