About the role

Join the Oregano's kitchen team as a Line Cook at the Speedway location. This part‑time position offers the chance to work in a high‑volume environment, preparing quality dishes and supporting a dynamic crew.

Key responsibilities

Prepare high‑quality food by accurately following recipes and procedures.
Manage an assigned station efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, adhering to sanitation standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, including assisting with dishwashing as needed.
Follow food safety, handling, and hygiene regulations and report any equipment or safety issues promptly.

Required profile

High‑volume kitchen experience preferred.
Valid state‑issued food safety and handling certification.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in hot or cold conditions.
Minimum age 16 (18 to operate certain equipment) and effective communication skills.
