Line Cook – Homewood Mountain & Lake Club

About the role

The Line Cook will support the culinary team at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, preparing dishes for members and guests, maintaining station cleanliness, and ensuring food quality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up assigned station with predetermined mise en place to ready station for service.
• Prepare food items for all outlets according to designated menus and recipes.
• Cook all food to quality, presentation standards and food preparation checklists.
• Demonstrate safe and proper use of equipment, monitoring temperatures of appliances and food.
• Stock, rotate, and receive deliveries, alerting the Sous Chef of low inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness of stations, equipment, and work areas.
• Work various stations as needed, including line, salad, prep, and others.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED; minimum 1 year line/prep cook experience in fine‑dining, luxury resort or private club.
• Ability to perform a range of cooking techniques and handle knives safely.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local food safety and sanitation regulations; food handler certification.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and lift items up to 50 lb.
