LICSW or Psychologist – Youth Residential Program

About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide on‑site mental health services for a federally supported residential youth program serving ages 16‑24 in Sedro‑Woolley, WA. The clinician will work full‑time or part‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, with occasional flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling to enrolled students.
• Engage with students throughout residential areas, including dormitories, recreation, dining, and counseling spaces.
• Collaborate with program leadership and interdisciplinary staff.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and training to staff facilitating group counseling sessions.
• Support student development, emotional well‑being, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while upholding professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Active Washington State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Minimum of one year experience providing mental health services to adolescents or young adults.
