Licensed Psychologist or LISW – Youth Residential Program

About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to deliver on‑site mental health services for a federally supported residential youth program in Denison, IA. The position involves direct clinical work with young adults aged 16‑24, supporting their transition to independent living.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Engage with students throughout residential areas, including dormitories and common spaces.
• Collaborate with program leadership, medical providers, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Offer consultation and support to staff regarding behavioral health needs.
• Perform crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Required profile

• Active Iowa license as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or LISW.
• Minimum of one year experience providing mental health services to adolescents or young adults (preferred).
• Strong assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
