Licensed Practical Nurse – Employee Health (Kings Hwy)

About the role

This position provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, for assigned employees within the Employee Health department. The LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse, guides ancillary nursing staff, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to gather data, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Deliver comprehensive care addressing physical, psycho‑social, educational, and safety needs of patients.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members to ensure a positive experience.
• Adapt quickly to changing unit demands and maintain flexibility throughout the shift.
• Maintain personal professional development, clinical knowledge, and required credentials.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: IV therapy credentials.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Good judgment, interpersonal, and delegation abilities.
