About the role
Provide comprehensive outpatient mental health services to adults and families, including assessment, therapy, crisis intervention, and discharge planning within Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver culturally sensitive individual, family, and group psychotherapy aligned with treatment plans.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop clinical impressions, and create treatment plans.
- Monitor and intervene for suicide or high‑risk situations according to professional standards.
- Provide patient and family education, case management, utilization review, and timely discharge planning.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Pennsylvania at time of hire.
- Demonstrated skill in clinical assessment, therapeutic techniques, and knowledge of behavioral health resources.
Required skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation adhering to regulatory and payer standards.
- Ability to perform case management, utilization review, and coordinate community resources.
