Leasing Professional – Student Living Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and revenue for The Accolade on Chestnut student‑living community by managing all aspects of leasing, resident satisfaction, and lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve occupancy and revenue goals, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Develop and implement marketing plans, use internet tools, and manage resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards, coordinating with maintenance.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and lease renewals.
• Prepare lease renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely signing.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, documenting and escalating as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
