Leasing Professional – Single Family Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for its Skymor Sanford single‑family community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention targets through full‑cycle leasing and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales and leasing activities including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, touring the community, showing apartments, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using platforms like Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.
• Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and secure lease renewals.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented and organized to manage leasing paperwork and unit inspections.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
• Knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
