Leasing Professional for Townhome Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention for a stabilized townhome community of 114 units. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting to move‑in, and support lease renewals while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needed, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including online listings, resident referral programs and employer outreach.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards, manage daily leasing office operations and respond promptly to resident inquiries and concerns.
• Prepare and manage lease renewal communications, ensuring timely signing of renewal documents.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Strong knowledge of leasing processes, credit screening and lease documentation.
