Leasing Professional for The Winnifred & The Winston

About the role

The Leasing Professional supports two mid‑rise communities, The Winnifred and The Winston, in Charlotte, NC. The role drives leasing activity, resident satisfaction, and lease renewals to meet occupancy and revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to achieve occupancy targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate data in property management software (OneSite, Yardi), tracking availability, traffic, and resident demographics.
• Keep show units and leasing corridors presentation‑ready, coordinating with maintenance for upkeep.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, or thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure lease renewals.
• Prepare renewal packages, contact residents before move‑out dates, and ensure timely execution of lease extensions.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in internet marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
