Leasing Professional – Community Marketing & Leasing

About the role

This position coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are ready, and maintain show‑unit standards.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data, and generate reports.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction, handle lease renewals, and address concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Valid state and local licenses/certifications required; a driver’s license is needed to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi).
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
