Leasing Consultant – Community Marketing & Resident Retention

About the role

The Leasing Consultant drives occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction for the Legacy at Fitz community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to lease renewals, while ensuring a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and prepare lease packages to achieve occupancy goals.
• Inspect and ready apartments for move‑in, coordinating with maintenance as needed.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including online listings, referral programs, and employer outreach.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, resident data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show units and common areas to Greystar standards, ensuring a compelling leasing environment.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, addressing issues or routing them to appropriate teams.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
