Learning & Development Manager

About the role

FreshDirect is looking for an experienced and strategic Learning & Development Manager to design, implement, and continuously improve learning initiatives across the organization. You will partner with leaders at all levels to close capability gaps, boost performance, and nurture a culture of continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise‑wide L&D strategy aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
• Design scalable leadership and manager development programs, including onboarding, coaching, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership readiness.
• Modernize learning delivery through blended learning, CBTs, microlearning, virtual sessions, and self‑directed pathways.
• Leverage AI‑powered learning technologies and automation tools to streamline administration, accelerate content creation, and personalize learning experiences.
• Manage a Training Coordinator and oversee the development, coordination, and delivery of all training programs and materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading L&D functions in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.
• Strong partnership skills with senior leaders and ability to translate business needs into learning solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a small team and drive cross‑functional projects.
