Lead Toddler Teacher (Contract)

About the role

Our Nestlé Purina Child Development Center is seeking multiple Lead Toddler Teachers. Join an experienced and committed team of early childhood professionals in a NAEYC‑accredited center located on Purina’s campus in downtown St. Louis. Key responsibilities

• Work with children in one‑on‑one and group settings through meaningful, hands‑on learning activities.
• Prepare and design weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate and differentiated for all skill levels.
• Design and execute math, literacy, and science activities that promote oral and written communication.
• Use daily mealtimes as opportunities to incorporate learning and social skills.
• Build schedules and routines, targeting social, motor and language development.
• Communicate student progress, strengths and areas for improvement to parents and families.
• Maintain a safe, healthy classroom by following all health and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field, CDA certification, or 2+ years of early‑childhood experience (at least one required).
