Lead Software Engineer II - AI & Engineering

About the role

Deloitte's AI & Engineering team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer II in Raleigh, North Carolina. The team transforms technology platforms and helps clients improve financial performance, accelerate digital ventures and grow through innovation. The role sits within the Government & Public Services practice, which serves federal, state and local government clients as well as public higher education institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of a hybrid multi-cloud environment.
• Lead client discussions on the design of technical environments and integration architecture.
• Stand up integrations across cloud and enterprise platforms.
• Define and implement enterprise integration patterns using Microsoft Azure integration services.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of information technology experience, including 5+ years in enterprise integration architecture and 5+ years with the required cloud service provider.
• Hands-on experience with the required tools.
• Experience designing and implementing hybrid and multi-cloud integration architectures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for the role.
• Ability to travel 0-50% on average, depending on clients and sectors served.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with networking and security services supporting API and integration architectures.
• Experience building continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for cloud integration solutions.
• Experience supporting government or public sector technology environments.

• Compensation range of $144,600 to $241,000 for Raleigh, North Carolina, with possible eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program.
