Lead Maintenance for Hampton Inn Biloxi/Ocean Springs

About the role

The Lead Maintenance professional will oversee all maintenance operations at the Hampton Inn Biloxi/Ocean Springs, ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and compliant with brand and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance tasks across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Conduct routine inspections, execute preventive maintenance programs, and respond promptly to guest and staff requests.
• Lead, train, and schedule the maintenance team while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Enforce OSHA and local safety regulations, keep accurate maintenance records, and perform fire safety inspections.
• Assist with budget management, inventory control, and coordination with vendors for specialized repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of hotel or facility maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform tasks such as climbing and standing for extended periods.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and safety guidelines.
