Lead Commercial HVAC Installer – Charlotte, NC

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Commercial HVAC Installer to join our growing installation team in Charlotte, NC. The role combines hands‑on installation of commercial HVAC/R systems with leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior installers and ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC/R equipment, ductwork, piping, controls and related components on commercial and industrial projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings and installation specifications.
• Assist with equipment start‑up, verify system operation and ensure compliance with codes and company quality standards.
• Mentor junior installers, promote a positive team environment and maintain clear communication with customers, project managers and crew.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas and follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and technical development.

Required profile

• Associate degree or technical training in HVAC (preferred but not required).
• Minimum 2 years of commercial HVAC installation experience; commercial/industrial experience strongly preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification (required) and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lb regularly and work at heights and in varied weather conditions.
