About the role

Alaro, an AI‑native law firm, is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its high‑impact team in New York or London. You will work at the intersection of complex legal matters and cutting‑edge automation, helping the firm deliver elite‑standard services while building the future of legal technology.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑volume client legal work end‑to‑end, meeting the standards of top global law firms.
• Translate transactional and procedural matters into repeatable workflow steps for proprietary AI agents.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to monitor AI output, provide feedback, and refine automation tools.
• Identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks and contribute to product development.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3‑8 years post‑qualification experience at a top‑tier firm (e.g., Paul Hastings, Kirkland & Ellis, Magic Circle).
• Strong transactional background and a process‑obsessed mindset.
• Commercially pragmatic with the ability to quickly grasp unfamiliar matter types and design scalable solutions.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and transactional expertise.
• Experience with workflow design or process automation concepts.
• Ability to work closely with technical teams.
