About the role

We are looking for a meticulous laundry staff member to join a luxury hotel on New York’s Upper East Side. The role is essential to uphold the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected by discerning guests. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure all linens, guest clothing, and uniforms are perfectly cleaned and returned promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and press hotel linens, guest garments, and staff uniforms.
• Sort items by fabric type and care instructions to prevent damage.
• Maintain inventory of linens and ensure timely replenishment.
• Inspect cleaned items for quality and address any issues before delivery.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel or commercial laundry operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and handling laundry loads.
