Landscaper – Residential & Club Grounds Maintenance

About the role

Discovery Land Company is seeking a dedicated Landscaper to maintain the visual appeal of its Atlantic Fields community, including club amenities, golf course areas, and residential properties. You will play a key part in delivering the premium experience members expect.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine ground‑care tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding (chemical and manual), mulching, pruning, and raking across golf course, club facilities and homes.
• Install and maintain new plantings and seasonal color displays, including watering and fertilizing.
• Participate in leaf removal during dormant seasons and assist with special landscape projects.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and equipment safely, including push mowers, zero‑turn mowers, skid steers, tractors, and mini‑excavators.
• Set up and close daily tool/equipment inventories, report safety or maintenance issues, and attend department meetings.

Required profile

• Prior landscaping experience, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles safely.
• Positive attitude, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Operation of push rotary mowers, zero‑turn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and riding mowers.
• Use of utility vehicles, skid steers, tractors, and mini‑excavators.
• Basic knowledge of chemical and fertilizer application for healthy landscapes.
